No more

No more alcohol means no more heartburn. Which I of course blamed everything else for (even pollen).

No more alcohol means no more night sweats. A bed wetter at 40? No hun.

No more alcohol means no more bad breath like you’ve swallowed a teenagers sock.

No more alcohol means no more cigarettes. I would smoke like a bloody incense cone on speed. Then be speaking like Gollum the next morning.

No more alcohol means no more waking up and worrying who’d I’d offended or pissed off the night before.

No more alcohol means no more waiting for something to go seriously wrong with my health. I use to think “oh I’ll stop if something happens”. No babes. Wrong way around.

No more alcohol means no more blackouts. Enough said.

No more alcohol means no more beating myself up for being “weak”. This played with my head a lot.

No more alcohol means that my life has changed unbelievably for the better. I am so grateful for being sober and on this bloody awesome adventure. Not just sitting in a darkened room hungover or pissed but out there living life.
